Nominative use
Collectors need to name product lines to buy and sell. YoJoeShop uses those names to describe goods. That is not a claim of affiliation with Hasbro or other rights holders. YoJoeShop is an independent collector marketplace and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Hasbro. G.I. Joe and related names and marks belong to their respective owners.
What we host
Member photos and text. Catalog stubs are original YoJoeShop records, not scraped from another archive. We do not use Hasbro, G.I. Joe or Cobra logos as site chrome.
Takedown notices
Send a written notice identifying the copyrighted work, the URL of the allegedly infringing listing, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized agent, and your physical or electronic signature. Use Contact with subject “IP notice” until a designated-agent mailing address is posted.
Counter-notice
If your listing was removed, you may send a counter-notice with your contact information, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, consent to the federal district court for your address (or where YoJoeShop may be found if you are outside the US), and your signature.
Repeat infringers may be suspended. Trademark complaints about confusing listings are reviewed under marketplace rules even when DMCA does not apply.
