PayPal Safety Guide
YoJoeShop recommends PayPal Goods and Services for collectible purchases between members. The seller—not YoJoeShop—creates and controls that invoice or payment link.
Why Goods and Services
- Purchase protection may apply to eligible G&S payments. Eligibility is decided by PayPal, not by YoJoeShop.
- Friends and Family is for personal gifts. It is not appropriate for merchandise and is not allowed as the payment method for YoJoeShop collectible deals.
- Ship to the address PayPal shows for the transaction. Mismatch is a common reason Seller Protection is denied.
What you should never send YoJoeShop
Do not send PayPal passwords, two-factor codes or government-ID images to YoJoeShop. Identity verification, if you use it, goes through the identity provider. YoJoeShop stores provider, status, dates and audit metadata—not ID photographs.
Deal Record labels
When you mark a deal “payment reported,” that is your report. It is not a bank confirmation unless a later authorized PayPal integration confirms it. Completing a Deal Record does not mean YoJoeShop received the money.
YoJoeShop does not receive, hold, divide, refund or distribute payment for collectible transactions. Sellers supply their own PayPal Goods and Services invoice or payment link. YoJoeShop is not escrow and does not guarantee transactions. Friends and Family is not appropriate for merchandise.
