Privacy Policy

Operational draft. This describes intended data practices. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by qualified counsel. A formal privacy notice for INFORM Act, state privacy statutes and payment-processor sharing will be completed with counsel before high-volume public marketing.

Data we collect

Account: name, email, password hash, optional public profile, shipping regions you choose to publish.
Listings, messages, offers, Deal Records, reports and reviews you submit.
Technical: IP address, device/browser, session cookies required to stay signed in.
Platform billing records for featured listings, spotlights, verification access and dealer plans.

Data we minimize

Government-ID photographs are not stored on YoJoeShop. Identity providers return status metadata only.
Collection inventory values and insurance notes in Command Center are private by default.
PayPal passwords are never collected. Item payments happen on PayPal between collectors.

Uses

Operate the marketplace, prevent fraud and abuse, complete Deal Records, send transactional email (password reset, deal updates), process platform-service invoices, and comply with law. We do not sell collector personal information as a data broker.

Sharing

Service providers (hosting, email delivery, identity verification, antifraud, platform-payment processors for YoJoeShop fees) process data on instructions. We may disclose information to respond to lawful requests or to protect people from imminent harm.

Retention and rights

You may request export or deletion from account settings or Contact. Fraud, tax, dispute and legal holds can delay deletion. Use the contact form for privacy requests until a dedicated privacy address is published.
