Terms of Use
Operational draft. This describes how YoJoeShop is intended to operate. It is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by qualified counsel.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or transacting you agree to these Terms, the Marketplace Rules, Privacy Policy, Prohibited Items policy and Intellectual Property policy. If you do not agree, do not transact.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to buy, sell or trade. Launch selling is limited to the United States until YoJoeShop publishes international procedures. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you, including tax, consumer and mail rules.
3. The service
YoJoeShop hosts listings, profiles, messages, Deal Records, optional promotions and moderation tools. YoJoeShop is not a party to collector-to-collector contracts for merchandise, is not a bailee of goods and is not escrow.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure and not share the account. YoJoeShop may suspend accounts for rules violations, fraud risk, unpaid platform invoices or legal demands. You may request deletion subject to fraud, legal and accounting retention.
5. Listings and content license
You keep ownership of photos and text you upload. You grant YoJoeShop a limited license to host, resize, display, moderate and retain copies needed for safety, disputes and legal holds. You warrant that you have rights to the content and that listings are classified honestly.
6. Payments for collectibles
YoJoeShop does not receive, hold, divide, refund or distribute payment for collectible transactions. Sellers supply their own PayPal Goods and Services invoice or payment link. YoJoeShop is not escrow and does not guarantee transactions. Friends and Family is not appropriate for merchandise. Payment labels in Deal Records are user-reported unless a later authorized integration confirms them.
7. Platform fees
Optional featured listings, spotlights, identity-verification access, dealer plans and advertising are paid to YoJoeShop. Those fees do not purchase merchandise and do not make YoJoeShop a seller of the listed collectible.
8. Trades
Direct item-for-item trades are not insured by YoJoeShop. PayPal purchase protection generally does not cover trades the way it covers Goods and Services purchases. Tracking is required for reputation credit unless both parties confirm local pickup.
9. Disputes
Payment and item disputes are handled by PayPal. YoJoeShop conduct reports cover harassment, misrepresentation, disclosure failures, review manipulation and marketplace-rule violations. Moderators may warn, restrict or suspend accounts; they do not decide PayPal chargebacks.
10. Disclaimers
Listings are user-generated. YoJoeShop does not authenticate toys as a grading company, does not guarantee availability or condition, and disclaims warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Identity and Trusted Seller badges are not merchandise guarantees.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, YoJoeShop is not liable for collector-to-collector loss, PayPal outcomes, shipping carriers, or user photos. Platform-service liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid YoJoeShop for the unused service giving rise to the claim.
