Verification and Trust
Badges on YoJoeShop describe verification or earned history. They do not certify toys and they do not guarantee a future deal.
Email Verified
Free. Required to sell. Means the account confirmed its email address and can receive deal and security mail. It is not identity proof.
Identity Verified
Optional. The member completed an identity-provider workflow. YoJoeShop does not store government-ID photographs—only provider, status, dates and audit metadata. The verification fee buys access to that process, not guaranteed approval. Tooltip wording: this member’s identity was confirmed through an independent verification provider. Verification does not guarantee merchandise or future transaction performance.
Trusted Seller
Earned, never purchased. Current thresholds (administrator-editable): at least 10 completed deals, seller rating at least 4.7, account age at least 90 days, and Identity Verified. Cancel-rate limits also apply. Losing those conditions can remove the badge.
Dealer Verified
Administrator-reviewed business information for dealer-plan accounts. It is not a government license check unless an administrator separately records one.
Ratings
Seller, buyer and trade ratings are separate. Reviews are collected double-blind and publish when both sides submit or the review window closes. Manipulating reviews is a rules violation.
